Frequently Asked Questions

We aim to provide a stress-free & hassle-free party experience from beginning to end! First, choose your desired event date, theme and package.  Then fill out our BOOK MY PARTY form or send us a message and we will contact you within 24 hours to discuss the details of your party and email you a contract and invoice for payment. Once we receive your deposit, your party is all booked!  We will send an invoice with your final balance 7 days prior to your event, final payment is due 6 days prior (failure to submit final payment will result in a cancellation of your event). On the day of your event, we will arrive to set up and make sure everything is in order before leaving you to enjoy the night! We will arrive the next day to pack up your party, while you relax!

If the event space is cleared of furniture and ready for set up, we can have the party set up between 1-2 hours depending on party size.  The breakdown time will be approximately the same as setup. 

A non-refundable deposit of $50 is required to reserve your date.  The remainder is collected 6 days before your event. If final payment is not received 6 days prior to your event, your party will be cancelled. 

We currently send invoices through QuickBooks.  You can use a debit or credit card of your choosing. 

For hygiene reasons, guests need to supply their own sleeping pillows.  Small World Sleepovers will provide sanitized fitted sheets, throw blankets and decor pillows.  If the event space is chilly, we do recommend extra blankets or a sleeping bag.

We do request that the area be as cleared out as possible before we arrive to setup.  We do not move furniture, if it is required for set up, it is your responsibility.  We kindly ask that all small children or pets stay in a separate area in order for us to setup as quickly and efficiently as possible. 

Each Small World Sleepover Teepee setup is approximately 75 inches long and 45 inches wide. We can arrange the Teepees in multiple configurations to best fit your event!

We take cleanliness and sanitization seriously.  Our sheets and blankets are laundered in hypo-allergenic, antibacterial detergent after each party.  Our tent covers and pillows are steam cleaned and all decor accents are wiped and disinfected.  

Due to safety restrictions, only ONE child per teepee is permitted.

Our standard setup is one night. We are always happy to accommodate your scheduling needs based on availability.  If you wish to book more than one night, please let us know and we can make additional arrangements. *Extended night rates will apply*

We service the following areas in Illinois: St. Charles, Geneva, Batavia, Elburn, Campton Hills, Maple Park, Elgin, South Elgin, Wayne, Kaneville, North Aurora, Aurora, Bartlett, West Chicago, Sugar Grove, Warrenville, Wheaton, Naperville, Lisle, and surrounding areas!

If you need to cancel or reschedule your party, you must notify us at least 7 days prior to the event. A change of date will be based on availability of the preferred date.  No refunds will be granted for cancellations within 7 days of your party. 

We understand that accidents happen! Any damage and/or defacement other than normal wear and tear to the property of Small World Sleepovers will result in assessment of charges to the client. 

Small World Sleepovers assumes no responsibility or liability for accidents or damages.  In the event of an accident or damage to any Small World Sleepovers property, the client will be held entirely financially responsible.  

 We kindly ask that only dry food (popcorn, chips, etc.) and non-staining beverages be consumed and kept on the bed trays.  This is asked to help us maintain the highest quality of our linens and fabrics. 

No pets are allowed on any Small World Sleepovers property.  We also kindly ask that you refrain from smoking near or around the property. 

Each Small World Sleepovers party is unique and special for the client.  Exact decor, accents, and linens are subject to change slightly based on product availability.  We promise to always provide an amazing event to match your theme, even if exact details vary slightly from photos depicted on our website.  Any MAJOR changes/modifications will be communicated to you well in advance of your event to ensure that your vision of the sleepover is perfect.
